The iProfiler is an autorefractor, a device that gives us an accurate starting point for your eye glasses prescription. Additionally it is a topographer. It maps the shape of your cornea. This is useful in cases of corneal disease, for example keratoconus. Many optometrists and ophthalmologists have both of these functions, but in separate devices. Where the iProfiler shines is with its third function. It has a Wavefront Aberrometer. This allows us to design custom glasses lenses that improve night vision. No other eye doctor in the region has this technology, only Artisan Eyeworks.
